Mary Mary – quite Contrary

Not sure what it is, but perhaps the coming of Spring/Summertime, a change of circumstance;  Life and death – indeed it has been a bitter/ sweet last few months/years – but I know and can feel that something within me has changed. [Gosh!!!] .

A resurrection [ does that imply I have been a corpse??], a rebirth? [Ouch], not sure what to call it.  Maybe it’ not just me, but I can only talk personally-  there has been a shift, and I  feel that I am waking  up [it may not last – you know what someone sang about life being a Roller-coaster – but lets not go there. [phew!!]

I seemed to be on a roll… and I want to write and share… even if no one is listening.

I was looking at images for my previous blog – The Morning after the Night Before – and came across the wonderful poem – I have a fascination – some may say fetish for not only the Madonna [ The Virgin Mary/Mary, mother of Jesus] , but also for  Mary Magdalene.  What is even more inspiring is listing to the poet reading it … So I wanted to share it with you all… out there in the ether ….It is truly inspiring.

“Mary, called Magdalene, from whom seven devils had been cast out” —Luke 8:2.

About Keeper of the Keys

I'm a 50 plus [ how time flies] multifaceted, oxymoron, who can never really make her mind up. A Witch, a Follow of the Goddess, a Medium, ( I'll talk to anyone dead or alive), a 'wanna be' Writer, a disorganised Blogger, Cake Baker, Jam Maker, Trainee Patchwork-er and Keeper of the Keys for The Under Gardener's Lodge. Mother Grandmother and Wife. I'm fascinated and excited by many things, and therefore could be called eclectic or even eccentric, though some have not been that polite. I live in this Beautiful Magical Lodge with my husband Lou, our rather large dog, Shea and a few other previous residents, who come and go. And like many women of a certain age - I like purple [ and some how pink!] rather a lot!
