‘Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow…’

A couple of weeks ago, we woke to snow … a few weeks before Yule, and just in time to get us in the mood….

I could hear Bing start to sing – well almost.

But as we all know, we have had a very mild and sunny Yule/Christmas here in the UK…

This was taken on Boxing day ( 27th December 2011),  and look at that sunshine

But I did manage to get some pictures as I took the wolf around the ‘back garden ‘ on her morning meander .

The ‘back garden’ looked very festive, before it the snow disappeared …. I think it lasted 2 days if that!, but for those 2 days – it was magical, a real winter wonderland.

We took our usual stroll up and around,

And on our way back we saw a Robin… a Christmas card in himself…

he sat patiently while I took his picture…before going off to eat berries on a nearby Holly Tree.

I am hoping for more snow in the New Year.

About Keeper of the Keys

I'm a 50 plus [ how time flies] multifaceted, oxymoron, who can never really make her mind up. A Witch, a Follow of the Goddess, a Medium, ( I'll talk to anyone dead or alive), a 'wanna be' Writer, a disorganised Blogger, Cake Baker, Jam Maker, Trainee Patchwork-er and Keeper of the Keys for The Under Gardener's Lodge. Mother Grandmother and Wife. I'm fascinated and excited by many things, and therefore could be called eclectic or even eccentric, though some have not been that polite. I live in this Beautiful Magical Lodge with my husband Lou, our rather large dog, Shea and a few other previous residents, who come and go. And like many women of a certain age - I like purple [ and some how pink!] rather a lot!
